DUE TO WORLD CONDITIONS AND MINES BEING SHUT DOWN IN CHINA, 
THE PRICE OF TIN, PEWTER AND METALS HAVE GONE UP.  CHINA HAS STOPPED EXPORTING TIN DUE TO A MINING FLOOD WHICH KILLED OVER 300 PEOPLE.  PERU WHO ALSO EXPORTED TINS HAD A DISASTER AND THEY HAVE STOPPED EXPORTING AS WELL.

Notes About Casting Metals:

High tin content metals have excellent flow characteristics with low melting temperatures.

The addition of tin to lead lowers its melting point.

The lowest and most desirable melting point (356 F.) is achieved with a 66% Tin & 34% lead alloy.

Metal should not be raised to over 670 F, to prevent mold damage.

Each of our listed ingots will cast approximately 5 or 6, 54mm figures.

CM3 50% Tin, 39% Lead 11% Antimony: Most Desirable 360  F.
CM5 100% Tin 450  F.
PS1 91% Tin, Antimony, Bismuth & Copper 425  F.
