ABOUT INSTA-CURE GLUES: Insta-Cure & Maxi-Cure are Cyanoacrylates (CA's). They have become the choice adhesives for most hobby and household applications. These high quality CA's when used properly, form bonds that in many cases are stronger then the material that is being adhered. With all CA's the closer the parts fit together, the stronger the bond. Shelf life can be prolonged if the dispenser tip is kept clean and capped tight and the glue is stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Insta-cure: Has water thin viscosity that wicks deep into joints. Cures in a matter of seconds. Surfaces to be bonded must be tight fitting and held together while you apply CA around the edges of the seam. Maxi-Cure: Extra thick CA, excellent for most plastics fiberglass, metals and rubber. Designed to bridge gaps and fill voids, Maxi-Cure can be carved with a knife or razor blade and sanded and feathered to finish. Insta-Set is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows CA's to cure in thick layers. Insta-Set in a spray bottle is normally used to cure the CA that flows from joints when parts are pressed together. Insta-Set is formulated to bond without degrading the CA's strength. Quick-Cure 5 Minute Epoxy cures to a slightly flexible consistency. This lack of brittleness allows it to form a long lasting bond.
